Wallenda first to cross Niagara Falls on tightrope
Nik Wallenda has become the first person to walk across the Niagara Falls on a tightrope. The whole event took him only 24 minutes to cross from the American side to the Canadian side of the falls. The high wire was suspended 60 metres above the water.

Edmonton - June 15, 2012 - Nik Wallenda has become the first person to walk across the Niagara Falls on a tightrope.

The whole event took him only 24 minutes to cross from the American side to the Canadian side of the falls. The high wire was suspended 60 metres above the water.

Wallenda's next challenge is to cross the Grand Canyon on high wire for which he has already secured the legal documents to do so.
