Cornwall - Feb. 01, 2011 - Outdoor skating, musical concerts and a fireworks display are just some of the festivities on tap for the Storm Realty Cornwall Winterfest Carnaval 2011, which is taking place Feb. 19 to 21.
In a few short years, Winterfest has grown to become a major community event for Cornwall, and this year's edition of the festival is sure to be the biggest yet.
The fun gets underway on Feb. 19 with a Snow Jam at Big Ben Ski Centre, and that will be followed by two days of free events and activities in Lamoureux Park and the Cornwall Civic Complex.
The highlight of the event is sure to be the fireworks, which will take place at 6 p.m. on Feb. 20 from Lamoureux Park.
