Cornwall - Feb. 22, 2011 - Are you looking for something to do to keep the kids occupied during the March break? Cornwall Square may have a piece of that puzzle for you.
Cornwall Square has partnered with Focus Art for the second year to offer FREE student art workshops for five (5) days during March Break. This event will take place at Cornwall Square from Monday March 14 through Friday March 18, 2011. Workshops will run from, 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm, on the lower level of the mall near the escalators.
L'Association FOCUS ART Association was founded in 2004 by five artists eager to form a circle of support and expertise in Cornwall as well as Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry. This community driven art association has been growing ever since.
In addition to the art workshops, Cornwall Square will be presenting "Kobbler Jay the Eccentric Juggler". Kobbler Jay will be making a stop at Cornwall Square on Thursday March 17, 2011. Kobbler Jay will be performing three (3) 45 minute shows, 1:30 pm, 3:30 pm & 6pm, at Centre Court.
Kobbler Jay is Niagara Falls' most outlandish busker and is known for his ability to tantalize the senses. Jay precedes his reputation as a professional entertainer, bringing nothing but his "A" game to every performance, and always making sure to leave the crowd laughing.
"The success of our March break program last year, has lead us to expand the program this year," stated Karen Burns, Marketing Director of Cornwall Square. "We encourage parents to bring the kids this March break to experience fine art and fun entertainment. Everything is free!"
