International Astronomy Day a hit in Cornwall!
International Astronomy Day a hit in Cornwall!
Cornwall - Apr. 30, 2012 - Local people were thrilled that the Back Yard Astronomers set up their scopes and viewing devices at the Cornwall Public Library during the daylight hours.

At 8 pm they were set up in the CCVS field. Many were in awe to view the moon, stars, Jupiter, Venus and other bodies with the aid of one of the telescopes and an amateur astronomer from the Back Yard Astronomers to help guide and identify the view.

International Astronomy Day in Cornwall was very well attended. The BYA Club are planning another Public Star Party (viewing) in the months ahead.
