SDG OPP Members receive Service Awards

SDG OPP Detachment Commander, Inspector Mike McDONELL recently presented service awards to two (2) of its serving members. Constable Marc CARRIERE and Civilian Jack LOGAN were both presented with service awards. The two have a combined 45 years with the OPP.

Long Sault - February 17, 2012 - SDG OPP Detachment Commander, Inspector Mike McDONELL recently presented service awards to two (2) of its serving members.

Constable Marc CARRIERE received the “Police Exemplary Service Medal” signifying twenty (20) years of continuous service in policing. Constable CARRIERE began his career with the Alexandria Police Service and was appointed to the OPP when policing responsibilities for the Town was assigned to the OPP in 2000.

Civilian Jack LOGAN was presented with a “Quarter Century Pin” signifying twenty-five (25) years of continuous service with the OPP. LOGAN served as a dispatcher and now administrative staff at the Lancaster office of SD&G OPP.
