Windsor - March 28, 2014 - As they say...“one good turn deserves another,” and here we are.

With a personal invite to return from Devonshire Mall, we’re here to get everyone thinking about adventures close to home. At Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island (TWEPI), we continually look for opportunities to promote our local tourism industry. The Tourism Kick-Off from March 28-30 encourages local residents to explore their own backyard and “Keep it Local.”

The last time we held this event, exhibitor space was at capacity, and the same holds true once again. Also, Devonshire Mall had good news of their own to share - they became the first community corporate sponsor of the 2014 Ontario Summer Games during a cheque presentation ceremony.

“In Windsor Essex we are blessed with eager and proud tourism stakeholders. It seemed like only minutes expired from the time we offered display space in Devonshire Mall until all of the spots were spoken for,” said Gordon Orr, CEO, Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island. “Within a very short period of time 29 local stakeholders stepped up showing once again, Windsor Essex has a tremendous amount to offer - festivals, tours, history, culture, wineries, fun for kids, there’s plenty to enjoy.”

Stop by the displays located in front of The Bay during regular mall hours: Friday, 9:30 am to 9 pm, Saturday, 9:30 am to 6 pm and Sunday, 11 am to 6 pm.
