Canucks collapse in Game One and lose to underdog Kings

Apr. 12, 2012: The Los Angeles Kings squeaked into the playoffs with a hope and a prayer and played last night’s round 1 game as if they were the President’s Trophy winning team. The same cannot be said for the actual President’s Trophy winning Vancouver Canucks. As they fell to the Kings, 4-2 in their series opener. FULL STORY

Canucks battle back for a 3-2 OT win in Colorado

Mar. 26, 2012: The Vancouver Canucks entered Colorado for the second straight game without their leading scorer in the lineup to take on the playoff desperate Colorado Avalanche in what ended up being a 65 minute duel of will. Schneider almost perfect in Dallas, leads Canucks to victory

Mar. 23, 2012: The Vancouver Canucks rolled into Dallas to take on the Stars without their leading scorer and played a perfect road game to earn a 2-1 win against a home team desperate for points. The Canucks played an edgy, gritty style of hockey after last night’s hard loss in Chicago to prove that even with a major piece of the team not in the lineup, they can still be a force to be reckoned with, and goalie Cory Schneider backed up the statement with a fantastic effort stopping 25 of 26 shots. Duncan Keith can add "head hunting, cheap shot artist" to his resume

Mar. 22, 2012: The final outcome of tonight’s game aside, one thing has to be mentioned about Duncan Keith, and that is he can add “head hunting cheap shot artist” to his resume, and the video replays will forever backup that fact. At 13:36 of the first period, Duncan Keith maliciously sought out an unsuspecting Daniel Sedin with the puck nowhere in the vicinity and delivered a blind side elbow to Sedin’s jaw, ultimately knocking him out of the game. Canucks Snap 2 Game losing Skid With 3-2 Win over Jets

Mar. 10, 2012: The Canucks finally looked like they were ready to make a solid playoff run with a spirited effort against the upstart Winnipeg Jets with a 3-2 regulation win on home ice. Not a blow out win, but not a shootout loss either. A worrying absence for the team of late are the whereabouts of brothers Daniel and Henrik Sedin. FULL STORY
