Windsor Spitfires Game Day versus the Saginaw Spirit
The Windsor Spitfires continue their 2012-13 Ontario Hockey League season with a home game tonight against the Saginaw Spirit. Tonight’s game will mark the first time that these West Division opponents will meet. Game time is 7:05 pm.

Windsor - November 15, 2012 - The Windsor Spitfires continue their 2012-13 Ontario Hockey League season with a home game tonight against the Saginaw Spirit. Tonight’s game will mark the first time that these West Division opponents will meet. Game time is 7:05 pm.

Saginaw Spirit

The Spirit lead the OHL in games played with 22 and have a record at 9-10-2-1 so far this season. The Spirit are coming off a big 8-7 win last night over the Plymouth Whalers and have secured seven out of a possible eight points in their last four games. Vincent Trocheck leads Saginaw in scoring with 35 points in 22 games and is tied for second in the league scoring race. Former Spitfire Eric Locke is second with 27 points in the same number of games. The Spirit are currently in third place in the West Division, one point ahead of Windsor.

Windsor Spitfires

The Spitfires enter the game on a three game losing skid. The Spits have been outshot 132-98 in the last three games and have given up 12 goals against. Montreal Draftee Brady Vail leads the team in scoring with 22 points in 20 games. Kerby Rychel has 17 points in 20 games to sit second. Expect Jaroslav Pavelka to get the nod in nets tonight for the home squad. The Spits currently hold down the 8th and final playoff spot in the Western conference.
