Windsor Spitfires foundation raises more money to support our Community
Thanks to the continued support of Spitfire fans, the annual Blue-White game, which took place on Thursday, August 30th at the WFCU Centre, raised $1,657 for the Windsor Spitfires Foundation. Since 2006, the Foundation has raised and donated $235,347.96 to charities and community organizations in our area.

Windsor - September 5, 2012 - Thanks to the continued support of Spitfire fans, the annual Blue-White game, which took place on Thursday, August 30th at the WFCU Centre, raised $1,657 for the Windsor Spitfires Foundation.

“The Blue-White game was the latest success in a long line of outstanding events in support of the foundation,” said Windsor Spitfires Foundation Vice President Shannon Ricker. “We're more proud than ever to engage with the club's great fans and community partners while benefitting the great work of charitable groups and social agencies in our community.”

Since 2006, the Windsor Spitfires Foundation has raised and donated $235,347.96 to charities and community organizations in Windsor & Essex County. Under the motto “Enhancing Lives, Improving Our Community” the foundation has made significant contributions to organizations like the John McGivney Children's Centre, Victim Services of Windsor and Essex County and Windsor Regional Hospital among many others, since its inception.
