The Spitfires are hosting a food drive in support of the Downtown Mission of Windsor at Thursday's game versus the Kitchener Rangers. This year marks the 40th year of operation for the Mission, which has helped countless Windsorites by providing shelter and food to those in need.

Windsor - September 26, 2012 - The Spitfires are hosting a food drive in support of the Downtown Mission of Windsor at Thursday's game versus the Kitchener Rangers. This year marks the 40th year of operation for the Mission, which has helped countless Windsorites by providing shelter and food to those in need.

The Mission is in dire need of canned goods and non-perishable items at this time of year, and we areasking our fans to dig deep and give generously Thursday.

Food items can be dropped off throughout the WFCU Centre at designated collection sites.
