Spitfires road woes continue, lose 4-1 to Battalion
The road woes for the Windsor Spitfires continued tonight as they dropped a 4-1 decision to the Battalion in Brampton. The Spits have only won road game and have been outscored 17-8 plus tonight in four games.

Windsor - October 19, 2012 - The road woes for the Windsor Spitfires continued tonight as they dropped a 4-1 decision to the Battalion in Brampton. The Spits have only won road game and have been outscored 17-8 plus tonight in four games.

Connor Jarvis, Jamie Lewis, Blake Clarke and Barclay Goodrow tallied for the Battalion. Brady Vail replied for the Spitfires.

Jordan Dekort made 35 saves in the loss for Windsor, while Jake Smith made 19 for the win.

Nick Ebert dropped the mitts with Nick Paul in the first period. Kerby Rychel went with Matt MacLeod in the second.

The Spitfires began a five game road trip tonight due to Skate Canada taking over the WFCU Centre next weekend.

Tomorrow night the Spits travel to Erie to once again take on Connor McDavid and the Otters. Next Thursday that head east on the 401 to take on the Sarnia Sting, Friday they play the Storm in Guelph, followed by a trip to Owen Sound to play the Attack.
