Windsor - November 1, 2012 - Jaroslav Pavelka had 38 saves and Josh Ho-Sang made the most of some time on the top line, as the Spits doubled the London Knights 6-3 in front of an energetic crowd of 5,832 at the WFCU Centre on Thursday night.

Pavelka made 15 saves, several of the highlight reel variety, in a first period dominated by London (8-5-0-2), giving the Spits time to get their game together.

And get it together they did.

Led by the trio of Ho-Sang (1G, 2A), Kerby Rychel (1G, 1A) and Brady Vail (1G, 1A), Windsor (8-6-0-3) turned a 2-0 deficit into a convincing win.

Goals by Vail (15:30) and Patrick Sieloff (19:29) pulled the Spits even after 40 minutes.

London took a brief 3-2 lead on Alex Broadhurst's fifth of the year just 1:08 into the third.

But it was all Spitfires from there.

Goals from Derek Schoenmakers (8), Ben Johnson (3), Ho-Sang (4) and Rychel (10), into an empty net, capped a stretch of four unanswered in the final 16:37.

Jake Patterson made 24 saves in goal for London, before he was pulled in favour of Kevin Bailie after Johnson's goal at 7:44 of the third. Bailie was rudely welcomed, as Ho-Sang deked him with a jaw-dropping set of moves, making it a 5-3 game at 16:34.

The Spits are right back at in Friday night, as they make a trip up the 401 to take on the Rangers in Kitchener.
