Windsor - June 10, 2013 - The Windsor Spitfires are pleased to announce we're partnering with Wendy's Windsor-Essex on their Father's Day Frosty Weekend, Saturday, June 15th, in support of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption Canada.

At all seven Wendy's Windsor-Essex restaurants, $1 from every Frosty sold goes to DTFA-C, which is doing outstanding work right here in our communities; finding loving, forever homes for children who need them.

Brady Vail and Bomber will be lending their support at the 2850 Howard Avenue store, from 2 to 3 PM.

Representatives of the DTFA-C will also be on-hand. We invite all media and fans to join us and help shine a light on some of the life-changing success stories the DTFA-C is helping write in our communities.

ABOUT THE DAVE THOMAS FOUNDATION FOR ADOPTION CANADA
DTFA-C is a not-for-profit corporation, registered Canadian charity whose mission is to dramatically increase the adoption of children in Canada’s foster care system. The vision of foundation is that every child will have a permanent home and a loving family. The foundation works to both: raise awareness about the more than 30,000 children in Canada waiting to be adopted and dedicate resources to signature efforts that move children from foster care and into adoptive homes.
