Seven injured in head on crash near Kingsville
Members of the OPP, Kingsville Fire and Rescue and numerous paramedics are currently on scene of a two vehicle crash involving 7 people. On November 14th, 2012 at approximately 6:45pm a Chrysler Intrepid was travelling eastbound on Hwy #3 near the Graham Side Rd when it entered the West Bound lane and collided head-on with a West-bound Chrysler Mini-van.

Kingsville - November 14, 2012 - Members of the OPP, Kingsville Fire and Rescue and numerous paramedics are currently on scene of a two vehicle crash involving 7 people. On November 14th, 2012 at approximately 6:45pm a Chrysler Intrepid was travelling eastbound on Hwy #3 near the Graham Side Rd when it entered the West Bound lane and collided head-on with a West-bound Chrysler Mini-van. The Chrysler Intrepid was being driven by a 19 year old man from Lasalle and he was transporting 5 passengers at the time. The Chrysler mini-van was being driven by a 50 year old Windsor woman with no passengers.

The crash occurred in the west bound lanes of Hwy#3 and as a result of the crash the intrepid caught fire. All occupants of the Intrepid were able to evacuate the vehicle, but the female driver of the mini-van had to be extricated by witnesses before she sustained any further injuries from the fire. All 7 occupants have been transported to various hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, however, at this time it is reported that the female driver and some passengers are listed in serious condition.

Hwy #3 will be closed between County Rd 18 and Graham Side Rd for the next few hours. The investigation is still on going and any new information will be sent electronically. No names are being released at this time.
