Windsor Spitfires, London Knights rivalry leads to assault
The male suspect was polite at first but quickly became aggressive after learning that the couple was from London ON. He referred to the Windsor Spitfire and London Knight hockey rivalry before punching the victim in the face. The victim was transported to hospital for treatment for his nose and for stitches to close the laceration under his eye.

Windsor - December 10, 2012 - On Saturday December 8, 2012 at approximately 12:45 a.m. Windsor Police were dispatched to the area of Pitt Street and Ferry Street for a report of an assault. Upon arrival police observed a 23 year old male victim with his 21 year old girlfriend.

The victim was bleeding from a cut under his right eye. He suffered a broken nose as well as a chipped tooth. Investigation has revealed that the couple was visiting Windsor from London ON for a friend's birthday. The victim asked an unidentified male if he could tell them their location in Windsor so that they could call for a cab. The male suspect was polite at first but quickly became aggressive after learning that the couple was from London ON.

He referred to the Windsor Spitfire and London Knight hockey rivalry before punching the victim in the face.

The victim was transported to hospital for treatment for his nose and for stitches to close the laceration under his eye.

The suspect is described as a male black, 5' 10", 170 lbs, 25-30 years of age with shaved short hair. He was wearing a black jacket, white undershirt, jeans and white running shoes.
