Kitchener - Oct. 26, 2013: Kerby Rychel led the way with a goal and two assists, as the Windsor Spitfires scored five unanswered goals in an eventual 5-3 win over the Kitchener Rangers at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium on Friday night. Kitchener - Oct. 19, 2013: Nick Magyar scored the first two goals of his Ontario Hockey League career for the Kitchener Rangers in a 6-2 loss to the Kingston Frontenacs on Friday night. Curtis Meighan, Radek Faksa and Brent Pedersen each earned an assist for the Rangers. The Frontenacs out-shot the Rangers 15-8 in the final period, finishing with a 42-30 overall advantage. Windsor - Oct. 18, 2013: General Manager Warren Rychel has announced a pair of trades made this morning. Goaltender Jordan DeKort has been traded to the Kitchener Rangers. In return, the Spitfires will get their own 6th Round draft pick in 2015. In a subsequent move, Windsor acquired Alex Fotinos from the Barrie Colts in exchange for Windsor's 7th Round draft pick in 2015. FULL STORY

Philadelphia - Sep. 21, 2013: The 2014 U20 World Junior Championships will be held in Malmö, Sweden this year from December 26th, 2013 to January 5th, 2014. Entering the tournament, a target will be on the back of the US team as the defending champions. Many of the key players that won the gold medal last year, specifically standout goaltender John Gibson and clutch scorer Johnny Gaudreau, are no longer eligible, and the US will have to turn over the majority of its roster. Oshawa - Sep. 18, 2013: The Oshawa Generals have acquired Josh Sterk from the Kitchener Rangers in exchange for a conditional fourth round pick in the 2014 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection and a sixth round pick in 2015. Sterk was acquired by the Kitchener Rangers in the fifth round of the 2011 OHL Priority Selection and now joins the Generals as a 5’11”, 175-pound centre with hopes of aiding on the Generals power-play while also contributing defensively.
