Amherstburg - Jun. 14, 2012 - Sunday was a beautiful day all across the province of Ontario. In the most south western part of the province in Amhertsburg, this large heron was spotted taking flight. This picture was taken at the Lake Erie Country Club on the shores of Lake Erie. Swans, turtles and a cormorant were also observed during our short visit.
