Windsor - Jul. 11, 2015: Currently known as the Queen of the Lakes, the MV Paul R. Tregurtha is the largest ship currently working the Great Lakes. She is a bulk carrier freighter, and was originally launched as the William J. DeLancey. She is the last of thirteen “thousand footers” to go into Great Lakes service. She is also the last Great Lakes ship to have been built in Lorain, Ohio at the American Ship Building Company yard. FULL STORY

Devonshire Mall has partnered with Windsor Home Coalition to provide assistance! Food donations can be dropped off at 900 Howard Avenue or call them at 519-258-4501 and they’ll pick them up for you! Windsor - Jun. 22, 2015: The start time for tonight's 2015 Detroit Ford Fireworks has been changed. The fireworks will now start at 9:06 instead of the originally planned 10:06 due to the threat of severe thunderstorms in the Windsor Essex region. There will be a free shuttle service leaving from Devonshire Mall. FULL STORY

Windsor - Jun. 8, 2015: The City Market opened in the Walkerville area this weekend, and by all indications, it was a smashing success. Located on the east side of Walker Road just north of Richmond Street, the brand new complex features many vendors selling fruits and vegetables. There is also a butcher, a baker, and while we didn’t see a candle stick maker, there was an Avon lady and a florist. The prices are great too. We stocked up on fruits and vegetables and got everything in the photo below for 23.00! Check it out next time you’re in the area. FULL STORY
