Windsor - Jun. 2, 2013 - As relative newcomers to Windsor-Essex, Cynthia and I had the opportunity to attend Beaverfest with some great friends. We were impressed with scenic Festival Plaza on the waterfront, as the skyline of Windsor and Detroit make for amazing backdrops.

A little rain didn't damper the spirits of the thousands in attendance. Drop Dead Famous, Platinum Blonde, Kim Mitchell and Tom Cochrane were last evening's headliners.

Congratulations to the Festival organizers for staging a successful event. Thanks goes out to the army of volunteers and generous sponsors who helped make this event a reality. Take pride in your efforts and know that they are appreciated!
