Cornwall - Jan. 28, 2011 - First, it was TCTI. Then it became Nav Canada.

Now, the massive training and conference facility on Montreal Road has shortened its name to the NAV CENTRE, and it has a new logo to match.

Officials said the new name and logo were adopted to reflect significant enhancements to guest services that have occurred over the past few years, as well as the conference centre's commitment to customer service excellence.

"People used to know us mainly as a training facility," says Kim Coe-Turner, the general manager of the NAV CENTRE. "Now we provide full conference, meeting and accommodation services that offer an unbeatable combination of customer care and affordability."

One of the largest facilities of its kind in eastern Ontario, the NAV CENTRE is a full service conference centre with 560 guest rooms and 70 dedicated state-of-the-art meeting rooms.

The NAV CENTRE recently received the Audubon International's "four leaf" accreditation in recognition of its strong commitment to environmental management and energy conservation.

"That's what the green in our new logo stands for - our excellent environmental management as well as our scenic location, with plenty of green spaces," added Coe-Turner.

The NAV CENTRE is fully owned by NAV CANADA, the country's air navigation services provider.
