Winter seminars with the Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre
The Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre is hosting a number of special events and seminars for the region’s business community over the next several weeks. These events will be of particular interest to small and medium sized business owners as well as prospective entrepreneurs.

Cornwall - Jan. 30, 2012 - The Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre is hosting a number of special events and seminars for the region’s business community over the next several weeks. These events will be of particular interest to small and medium sized business owners as well as prospective entrepreneurs.

“We are taking our new E-Biz series on the road” said Business Consultant Candy Pollard.

“These sessions will provide business owners with important information on the fastest growing part of the business world – E-Business. Even the smallest business should stay up to date and take advantage of the latest trends and opportunities in the on-line world. Small businesses have the most to gain from being active online. Our E-Biz series will be held in different locations in Cornwall, SD&G and Akwesasne, making it more convenient for attendees.”

Registration for these seminars is now open. As space is limited, it is advisable to register in advance. A list of topics, the different locations and additional information on all of these seminars can be found on the CBEC website .

“This year we are also taking our Bridges To Better Business events on the road” said Ms.Pollard. “These events provide a great opportunity for business owners to connect with each other, share information and successes and to learn about important issues for small and medium business owners. We are pleased to be able to hold three different half day day events at different locations in Cornwall and SD&G. Additional information regarding Keynote Speakers and breakout sessions will be available shortly.

Summer Company
The Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre also delivers Summer Company, an Ontario government program that provides students, aged 15 to 29, with grants of up to $3,000 and training to help launch their own summer businesses.
