Wilkes-Barre - October 30, 2015 -

The Hartford Wolf Pack came to town tonight looking to take care of the Penguins, and it seemed like they were going to have their way, that is until the WBS Penguins started playing their game.

It was Hartford getting off to a good start tonight scoring first just 6:05 into tonight's game giving the Pens something to think about. WBS would even things up about five minutes later as Carter Rowney would get his team on the boards.

Hartford seemed to be out working and out skating the WBS Penguins for most of the first period out shooting them 12-6.

Play picked up in the second period a bit speed wise with some great end to end hockey both sides getting some great chances, as the speed picked up so did some of the hits both sides handing out some nice hits.

WBS would tally a go ahead goal Scott Wilson would get the Pens up 2-1 just past the seventeen minute mark. Tom Kostopoulos would tip in a shot a bit later only to have it waived off because incidental (phatom) contact cause the boos to rain down on the refs. Not only boos but a RYS chant came out once again. At the second intermission it was WBS 2 HFD 1. Listen to part of the RYS song here

The Penguins would net two goals in the third period Oskar Sundqvist would tip in a gorgeous feed from Dominik Uher on a shorthanded fast break to make it 3-1 WBS.

Scott Wilson would tally the Penguins fourth goal on the night an empty netter to make it 4-1 WBS. That's how tonight's game would end the WBS Penguins taking the Hartford Wolf Pack 1.
