Wilkes-Barre - November 14, 2015 -

It was the WBS Penguins taking on the Rochester Americans tonight looking to extend their winning streak from nine in a row to 10 a new team high.

Not much in way of scoring during the first period WBS getting some great chances even an open net on the power play but just couldn't get the pick where it needed to go. Tristan Jarry doing s nice job in net stopping the ones that got to him. WBS and Rochester leaving the ice after one period looking at a 0-0 tie.

Second period the Penguins seemed a little flat, passes were off just a bit movement seemed sluggish it just didn't seem like our boys. Just as I tweeted that and added nothing a goal wouldn't cure it happened. J. S. Dea tallied the Penguins first of the game making it 1-0 WBS.

David Warsofsky would give WBS a two nothing lead later in the second as the Pens were on the power play. At the end of two periods it the WBS penguins taking their 2-0 lead to the dressing room and Rochester looking at 20 more minutes of hockey to play.

Rochester came out and the third looking to even up the odds, picked up their play but still could not find an opening. The Penguins held on keeping it to nothing 99% of the period. With just 18.7 seconds to go in regulation in Rochester Americans tallied their first goal of the night taking Tristan Jarry's shut out away from him.

Oskar Sundqvist poked home the Penguins third goal of the game with 11.3 seconds left on the clock off the face off at center ice into the empty net in Rochesters end.

That's how tonight's game with in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Setting a new team high 10 straight wins and running with the win over the Amerks.
