Saskatoon - Oct. 19, 2013: Collin Valcourt scored the third period game-winner, giving the Saskatoon Blades a huge come from behind, 4-2 win over the Kootenay Ice in Friday night NHL action. Lost in the shuffle of the big comeback victory was the fact Blades goalie Troy Trombley made 38 saves to pick up his second win of the season. FULL STORY

That's absolutely the case with the Saskatoon Blades, as they've picked up 4 straight wins, have wins in 5 of their past 6 and points in all 6 of those games. Calgary - Sep. 5, 2013: The Western Hockey League announced today that the WHL Board of Governors have approved the transfer of ownership of the Saskatoon Blades from the Brodsky family to Mr. Mike Priestner and the Priestner Sports Corp. The WHL Board of Governors voted unanimously in favour of the share purchase. It’s anticipated the sale will close later this week. FULL STORY

Calgary - Aug. 28, 2013: The WHL announced Tuesday a special meeting of the WHL Board of Governors has been scheduled for Wednesday September 4 to review an application to transfer the ownership of the Saskatoon Blades WHL franchise. The co-owners of the Saskatoon Blades, Jack Brodsky, together with his brother Bob and sister Debbie, have entered into an agreement with Mike Priestner to purchase the franchise. FULL STORY
