Calgary - Sep. 5, 2013: The Western Hockey League announced today that the WHL Board of Governors have approved the transfer of ownership of the Saskatoon Blades from the Brodsky family to Mr. Mike Priestner and the Priestner Sports Corp. Calgary - Aug. 28, 2013: The WHL announced Tuesday a special meeting of the WHL Board of Governors has been scheduled for Wednesday September 4 to review an application to transfer the ownership of the Saskatoon Blades WHL franchise. The co-owners of the Saskatoon Blades, Jack Brodsky, together with his brother Bob and sister Debbie, have entered into an agreement with Mike Priestner to purchase the franchise. FULL STORY
