Spokane - Mar. 15, 2014: Forward Mitch Holmberg became the Spokane Chiefs' all-time leading goal scorer on Friday night, finding the back of the net for the 62nd time this season, in helping the Spokane to a 4-3 shootout victory over the Tri-City Americans in front of a sold out crowd in what was the Chiefs home ice regular season finale. Holmberg currently leads all WHL scorers with 62 goals and 118 points heading into the final weekend of the 2013-14 season FULL STORY

Edmonton - Oct. 12, 2013: On the strength of a 3rd period four goal explosion, the Edmonton Oil Kings manged to knockoff one of the hottest teams in the WHL on Friday night, beating the Spokane Chiefs by a score of 4-1. Curtis Lazar led the comeback with a pair of goals, in what was the season debut of captain Griffin Reinhart.
