Kelowna - Nov. 7, 2013: The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Red Deer Rebels 6-2 on Wednesday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna as the Rockets won its fifth straight game. Six different players scored for Kelowna, who jumped out of the gates quickly and led from start to finish in improving to 12-2-0-2 on the season. Kelowna - Oct. 17, 2013: Defenceman Riley Stadel scored three times and rookie Nick Merkley chipped in with four assists, as the Kelowna Rockets continued their strong start to the 2013-14 WHL campaign, trouncing the Lethbridge Hurricanes by a score of 6-0 on Wednesday night. The Rockets outshot the Hurricanes 62-26 on the night and improve to 6-1-0-2 with the win. FULL STORY

Everett - Oct. 3, 2013: Madison Bowey and rookie Nick Merkley each scored twice while Zach Franko and Damon Severson also found the scoresheet, as the Kelowna Rockets handed the Everett Silvertips their first loss of the season, with a 6-3 win in Wednesday night WHL action. Kelowna - Oct. 2, 2013: Kelowna Rockets President/GM Bruce Hamilton announced Wednesday that the Rockets have traded 20-year-old defenceman MacKenzie Johnston to the Prince Albert Raiders for a third round WHL bantam draft pick in 2015. The Rockets had been carrying four 20-year-old players, one more than the WHL maximum, forcing the team to make the roster move. FULL STORY

Tyson Baillie and Cole Linaker each had a goal and an assist while Henrik Nyberg and rookie Ryan Donaldson also scored for the Rockets, who led 2-1 after one and 4-2 after two periods en route to the win.
