SNAPSHOT - All eyes on Laliberte as he shoots for team record
Cornwall - Mar. 7, 2011 - As you can see from this photo, all eyes were fixed on Colts captain Jacob Laliberte on Saturday as he attempted to set a new record for the most points by a Colt in a season. He achieved the feat by scoring a goal and adding three assists to finish with 133 regular season points, surpassing the previous high of 130 set by Hugo Boisvert in 1995-96. Thanks to the great offensive season, Laliberte has secured a place among the all-time leading scorers in the Central Hockey League, but it's not over yet as the veteran forward will take his last stab at leading the Colts to the league championship. Cornwall will open their first-round playoff series against Kanata on Thursday at the Cornwall Civic Complex (7:30 p.m.).
