SNAPSHOT - Lauzon hosts his largest constituency picnic to date
St. Andrews - Aug. 16, 2011 - Close to 400 people visited the home of Guy and Frances Lauzon Sunday afternoon for their 7th annual Constituency BBQ. Guests were treated to hamburgers, hot dogs, salad and great music provided by 85 year old Smokey Leger (shown in photo) and his family. Leger who retired after entertaining professionally for over 50 years has played at each of Lauzon's seven BBQs as a special favour to the MP for Sormont Dundas and South Glengarry.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was the singing of three songs by Lauzon' wife Frances, including the MP's favourite "Can I Have This Dance For The Rest Of My Life" by Anne Murray. Among the guests in attendance were Jim McDonell, provincial PC candidate and his wife Margie. Each guest left with a souvenir reusable shopping bag from Lauzon.
