Cornwall - May. 26, 2011 - If you are looking for a deal – then you need to be at Cornwall Motor Speedway this Sunday, May 29th. With the cancellation of last Sunday`s events, the races that were not completed will be added to the schedule for this week.

On Sunday, you will be able to enjoy the final heat races for the Sportsman, the consolation races for the Modifieds along with the 100-lap Canadian Nationals Modified feature races plus the four feature races for the regular classes. After this portion is completed, a complete race program for all classes will be held.

In total there will be10 feature races and more than 15 heat events. With 113 drivers registered last Sunday, Speedway officials expect that the majority of them will be back to have the opportunity to compete in double features.

For the Canadian Nationals, there are already 20 drivers from Ontario, Quebec and Northern United-States that are locked in which are Stéphane Lafrance, Claude Brouillard, Dale Planck, David Hébert, Danny O’Brien, Laurent Ladouceur, Mario Clair, Clement et Alan Therrien, Adam Turner, Jean Boissonneault, Marc Therrien, John Lazore, Pat Cashman, Brandon Sweet, Yan Bussière, Kyle Dingwall, Jeff Sykes, Fred Gamache and Justin Lalancette. The consolation races should also be exciting with a few track champions such at Pat O’Brien, Joel Doiron and Carey Terrance that will try to qualify to get in the 100-lap finale.

The night will start at 6:00 pm sharp. For more information visit the Speedway’s website at www.cornwallspeedway.com.
