Cornwall - Aug. 21, 2011 - Officials at the Cornwall Motor Speedway have called off tonight's races due to the rain. Regular racing program will resume next week.

For a third week in a row, Mother Nature had to say a word on the racing at Cornwall Motor Speedway. Steady rain overnight and all morning long in the Cornwall area forced promoter Ron Morin to cancel the Ontario DIRT Late Models show along with a full show in the Modifieds, Pro-Stock, Semi-Pro and Mini-Stock. The ODLM, will not be rescheduled this year because of scheduling conflicts.

A busy Sunday next week as the Patriot Sprint Tour will be back to complete their feature race, also the 25-lap Semi-Pro and 20-lap Sportsman for earlier cancellations will also be on the schedule that will include a complete show with the five regular classes as the Modifieds, Sportsman, Pro-Stock, Semi-Pro and Mini-Stock will be on hand. All this racing for only $12.
