Spink Twins return the Cornwall Colts to their winning ways
The Spink twins combined for five points in their return to the Cornwall Colts line-up and lead the home team to a 3-2 victory over the Smiths Falls Bears. The Colts now improve to 18-6-1 on the season. Cornwall is in action again on Saturday afternoon as they play host to the Kemptville 73’s.

Cornwall - Nov. 18, 2011 - The Spink twins combined for five points in their return to the Colts line-up and lead the home team to a 3-2 victory over the Smiths Falls Bears. The Colts now improve to 18-6-1 on the season.

Smiths Falls opened the scoring early in the game on a marker by Matt Robertson. Tylor Spink tied it for Cornwall early in the second. Robertston notched his second of the game at 15:00 the second to give the Bears a 2-1 lead.

About a minute later, Michael Woolley quickly tied the game at two with a goal for Cornwall. Tylor Spink scored what turned out to be the game winner at 18:46 of the second period. There was no scoring in the third period.

The three stars were Tylor Spink (1st), Woolley (2nd), and Robertson (3rd). Smiths Falls Connor McGrath was assessed 27 minutes in penalties for a slash early in the second period. Lukas Hafner made 14 saves on 16 shots for the win.

Cornwall is in action again on Saturday afternoon as they play host to the Kemptville 73’s. Game time is 2:30 pm.
