Is Trust Becoming an Issue Between Gillis and Schneider?

Feb. 6, 2013: Cory Schneider’s agent, Mike Liut may have turned up the heat just a bit when he threw his hat into the boiling cauldron of the Canucks goaltending debacle by saying he isn’t happy with the playing minutes the Canucks No.1 goalie has been getting so far this season. FULL STORY

Surprising Start, Surprising Finish! Canucks win 2-1 in Shootout

Feb. 2, 2013: Roberto Luongo has silenced his critics and put an end to the goalie controversy talk. But I’m pretty sure the talk around Vancouver will be trying to figure out how the hate was replaced by a kinder, gentler opponent in the Chicago Blackhawks. The Vancouver Canucks came away with a 2-1 SO victory. FULL STORY

Sloppy Start to 2013 Season - Ducks School Canucks in 7-3 Loss in Opener

Jan. 21, 2013: It has been 272 days since the Vancouver Canucks last played hockey on home ice, and what has been learned so far? 1: that a 48 game season is going to be a sprint to the finish in that every win is going to be crucial. And 2: a goalie controversy seems to be the only consistent part about the Canucks game as of late, and it picked up where it left off last year! FULL STORY

Apr. 23, 2012: Jarret Stoll's perfectly placed shot put an end to the heavily favoured Vancouver Canucks year, as they crashed out of the 2012 NHL playoffs. With the 2-1 overtime victory, the Los Angeles Kings are off to the second round while Vancouver is left pondering just what might have been. FULL STORY

Apr. 19, 2012: What a difference a Sedin makes! With Daniel Sedin making his long awaited return to the lineup since being knocked out of action by the Blackhawks Duncan Keith last month and provided the spark that the Vancouver Canucks offense had been missing, beating the Los Angeles Kings by a score of 3-1. Crumbling Canucks drop second straight to Dustin Brown and the Kings

Apr. 14, 2012: This series could easily be referred to as the Tale of Two Teams. Kings fans are surely asking themselves, “where was this team during the regular season,” as the 8th place LA Kings beat the Vancouver Canucks for the second consecutive game by a score of 4-2. FULL STORY

Canucks collapse in Game One and lose to underdog Kings

Apr. 12, 2012: The Los Angeles Kings squeaked into the playoffs with a hope and a prayer and played last night’s round 1 game as if they were the President’s Trophy winning team. The same cannot be said for the actual President’s Trophy winning Vancouver Canucks. As they fell to the Kings, 4-2 in their series opener. FULL STORY

Canucks battle back for a 3-2 OT win in Colorado

Mar. 26, 2012: The Vancouver Canucks entered Colorado for the second straight game without their leading scorer in the lineup to take on the playoff desperate Colorado Avalanche in what ended up being a 65 minute duel of will. And after a shaky start to the game for the Canucks as they went down a goal just over a minute into the period, they battled back to eventually defeat the Avalanche for the fifth straight time. Schneider almost perfect in Dallas, leads Canucks to victory

Mar. 23, 2012: The Vancouver Canucks rolled into Dallas to take on the Stars without their leading scorer and played a perfect road game to earn a 2-1 win against a home team desperate for points. The Canucks played an edgy, gritty style of hockey after last night’s hard loss in Chicago to prove that even with a major piece of the team not in the lineup, they can still be a force to be reckoned with, and goalie Cory Schneider backed up the statement with a fantastic effort stopping 25 of 26 shots. Duncan Keith can add "head hunting, cheap shot artist" to his resume

Mar. 22, 2012: The final outcome of tonight’s game aside, one thing has to be mentioned about Duncan Keith, and that is he can add “head hunting cheap shot artist” to his resume, and the video replays will forever backup that fact. At 13:36 of the first period, Duncan Keith maliciously sought out an unsuspecting Daniel Sedin with the puck nowhere in the vicinity and delivered a blind side elbow to Sedin’s jaw, ultimately knocking him out of the game.
