Greg previously interned at CBC radio sports in Toronto for a month before hosting his own radio talk show on CKCU radio in Ottawa for two years. Passionate about his Senators, Greg will provide current news and views on the Ottawa Senators organization from a global perspective. Apr. 28, 2012: This year the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) has introduced a new format for the World Hockey Championship. Previous versions had teams split into four groups, with the top three teams in each group qualifying for the second round. Feb. 23, 2012: Milan Michalek, Eric Karlsson and Nick Foligno each had multiple point nights as the Ottawa Senators defeated the Washington Capitals 4-2 at Scotiabank Place. The win was Ottawa’s fourth in a row and fifth in the last six games. Feb. 10, 2012: Chris Phillips and Jason Spezza each scored a pair of goals as the Ottawa Senators beat the Nashville Predators 4-3 to stop the Senators losing streak at seven games. Tonight’s game was Phillips 1000th game, all with the Senators, and he celebrated the night by scoring his first two goals of the season, including the game winner. FULL STORY

Feb. 8, 2012: David Perron scored a pair of goals and Brian Elliot made a triumphant return to Ottawa, making 28 saves as the St. Louis Blues beat the Ottawa Senators 3-1 at Scotiabank Place tonight. Jan. 22, 2012: Lubomir Visnovsky was credited with his fifth goal of the season to give the Anaheim Ducks a 2-1 win over the Ottawa Senators. Jan. 20, 2012: Craig Anderson made 36 saves and Colin Greening scored a pair of goals to the lead the Ottawa Senators to a 4-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks at the Shark Tank. Jan. 17, 2012: Kyle Turris scored his third goal of the season a minute and a half into the third period to give the Ottawa Senators a 3-2 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs at the ACC. Jan. 15, 2012: Daniel Alfredsson scored the only goal of the shootout, in the third round to give the Ottawa Senators a 3-2 shootout victory over the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre. Craig Anderson stopped all three Montreal shootout attempts to put Alfredsson into the spotlight again to win the game. FULL STORY

Jan. 13, 2012: Craig Anderson made 34 saves for his first shutout of the season and Jason Spezza scored a pair of goals as the Ottawa Senators defeated the New York Rangers 3-0 at Madison Square Gardens. The win gives the Senators their 2nd straight win on the current road trip and stretched their streak to eight straight games without a loss in regulation time. FULL STORY
