Edmonton - October 2, 2012 - FC Edmonton announced the release of three more players on Tuesday.

Defenders Kévin Hatchi and Jonathan Joseph-Augustin, along with goalkeeper Michal Misiewicz were all given their release papers and are welcome to pursue other opportunities.

“At this point we felt that changes had to be made,” said technical director Joe Petrone. “We’re looking at fresh faces so we need to make room. We want to keep the core intact but we also need to look at new players to bring in. Each of the players did well for our team and we wish them all well,” he added.

These latest moves come on the heels of an earlier round of cuts by FCE, which saw defender Fabien Vorbe, midfielders Matt Lam and Ilja van Leerdam and striker Sérisay Barthélémy given their release from the club.

Edmonton were also forced to part ways late last week, with head coach Harry Sinkgraven and assistant coach Hans Schrijver, for budgetary reasons.
