Could 2017 be the year Tim Raines goes into Cooperstown?

Jan. 8, 2014: When it comes to Tim Raines and the Baseball Hall of Fame, the last 7 years have been very interesting to watch unfold. After debuting on the ballot in 2008 with just 24.3% of the vote, the Montreal Expos legend managed to work his way up to 52.2% in 2013. However, 2014 looked to be another matter altogether and with Wednesday’s announcement of Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine and Frank Thomas as the newest inductions into Cooperstown that fear became a reality. MLB: Raines awaits his call from the Hall

Dec. 27, 2013: The fact we are now into year number seven of the Tim Raines Hall of Fame watch is more than a little disappointing. Anyone who watched him play throughout his 23 year career, knows exactly just how good and dominant a ball player he was, Had Raines played for any other team than the Montreal Expos during his first ten years in the big leagues, this would all be a moot point...as he would have been enshrined in Cooperstown long ago. Champions League: United collapse, as Madrid and Ronaldo advance

Mar. 5, 2013: Through fifty-five minutes of play, Manchester United had employed their game plan to perfection against Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League matchup.
