New festival in Colchester looking for volunteers
A new festival is coming to Essex County. The Colchester Villagefest will be held at the Colchester Harbour front Park at 100 Jackson St. in the Village of Colchester. We are currently looking for community minded individuals to volunteer

Colchester - July 16, 2013 - A new festival is coming to Essex County. The Colchester Villagefest will be held at the Colchester Harbour front Park at 100 Jackson St. in the Village of Colchester. We are currently looking for community minded individuals to volunteer (www.colchestervillagefest.com/volunteer).

Events include several Essex County wineries and food establishments and Walkerville Brewery. Featured bands include: Juno nominated Canadian band Cuff the Duke, 80's Inc, Billy Raffoul, Nemesis, Eccentric Band, Karen Morand & Bosco, Prairie Siding (Country/Bluegrass) and many more.

There is easy access to the Colchester Beach and splash pad.

There will be kids' events including an activity tent and entertainment. The weekend will also feature a car show, motor cycle rally and kayaking demo.

Admission is $10.00 per day and camping spots can be reserved online for a cost of $20.00 per night or $30.00 for the weekend.

Volunteer opportunities include: admissions, park clean up, crowd control and security, ticket sales, bottle collection and much more. Visit colchestervillagefest.com/volunteer to complete an online volunteer application.

Advanced ticket locations are listed on the website. Admission is $10.00 per day (no weekend passes).

The festival happens on August 9, (5:00 pm to midnight ), August 10 (12:00 pm - 12:00 am) and August 11th (12:00 pm -5:00pm).
