Lakeshore - Mar. 1, 2018: Lakeshore’s newest visitor is a Snowy Owl, affectionately named ‘Atlas’, who is vacationing at the front of the Atlas Tube Centre grounds. She can be found on the light posts watching for prey (small mammals and birds) or enjoying a meal on the soccer pitch. Atlas has made Lakeshore’s Atlas Tube Centre her layover destination for 2018! and 2017 Memorial Cup champion back to Windsor. Brown played four games for the Senators out of training camp, registering his first

Windsor - Oct. 13, 2017: 4,870 Windsor Spitfires fans were treated to a pre-game and post-game celebration in a 3-1 win over rivals London Knights.
During the pre-game raising of the Memorial Cup championship banner, the London Knights opted not to participate in the ceremonies to add salt, to their still healing, wounds. The Knights went into the 2016-2017 season, with high expectations and an highly skilled roster of advancing to the 2017 Memorial Cup hosted by Windsor. FULL STORY
London - Sep. 22, 2017: Saddled with five penalties in the third period, the penalty kill came up huge for the visiting Spitfires in a big, 5-2 win over the Knights at Bud Gardens on Friday night. Windsor (2-0-0-0) killed six penalties in all and is now a perfect 12-for-12 to start the season, fending off chance after chance by a London (0-1-0-0) team never led in its 2017-18 season and home opener. Windsor - Sep. 22, 2017: The Windsor Spitfires skated to a 3-1 opening game victory over the Saginaw Spirit on Thursday night, in front of 5,083 fans at the WFCU centre.
The atmosphere was electric while Captain Aaron Luchuk raised the Memorial Cup for the fans before puck drop. The fourteen new faces on the roster looked jittery and did take some time for the new young guns, to work on all cylinders. FULL STORY
