More tickets made available for International Childrens Games Opening
At the request of the Mayor, the International Children’s Games (ICG) Organizers have reworked the opening ceremonies and the layout of the seating at the WFCU Centre to accommodate more spectators. “We have been overwhelmed by the interest in tickets for the opening ceremonies,” said Windsor Mayor and ICG Co-chair Eddie Francis. “So we went back to the drawing board, reconfigured the show and the seating and now have room for 750 more people”.

Windsor - July 30, 2013 - At the request of the Mayor, the International Children’s Games (ICG) Organizers have reworked the opening ceremonies and the layout of the seating at the WFCU Centre to accommodate more spectators.

“We have been overwhelmed by the interest in tickets for the opening ceremonies,” said Windsor Mayor and ICG Co-chair Eddie Francis. “So we went back to the drawing board, reconfigured the show and the seating and now have room for 750 more people”.

The opening ceremonies will be held Thursday, August 15, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. They are free to attend, but you must have a ticket, and tickets can only be picked up in person at the WFCU Centre.

The extra tickets will be available beginning Thursday, August 1, 2013 when the box office opens at 10:00 a.m. There will be a limit of four tickets per person.
