Lancers Baseball Program Advances to Great Lakes Regional  Playoffs
The University of Windsor Lancers (“Lancers”) baseball program (19-3 overall, 14-1 NCBA Great Lakes North) travel to Crestwood Illinois for the NCBA Great Lakes Regional (“Regional”) May 10th to 12th 2019. The Lancers first Regional game is Friday, May 10, 2019 at 6 pm against the University of Wisconsin.

Windsor - May 8, 2019 - The University of Windsor Lancers (“Lancers”) baseball program (19-3 overall, 14-1 NCBA Great Lakes North) travel to Crestwood Illinois for the NCBA Great Lakes Regional (“Regional”) May 10th to 12th 2019.

The Lancers qualified for the Regionals by winning the Great Lakes North conference with a 14- 1 record. They will face the other conference champions University of Illinois (Great Lakes South), University of Wisconsin (Great Lakes West) and Michigan State (At Large). The Lancers first Regional game is Friday, May 10, 2019 at 6 pm against the University of Wisconsin.

The Lancers are ranked 15 th nationally in the National Club Baseball Association Division 1 heading into the Regional playoffs out of 138 teams across the United States.

The Regionals will be a two game knock-out format. The Regional winner will then travel to North Carolina on May 23-28, 2019 for the NCBA World Series.

The Lancers coaching staff is lead by Frank Jeney (Manager) and supported by Barry Munro (Asst Coach), Dan Rankin (Pitching Coach), Alister Ethier (Strength Coach), Chris Wainscott (IT Services) and public address announcer, Frank Jeney Sr.

The Lancers two captains are Chris Rinaldi Ross (3 rd Year Business Admin) and Jeremy Orton (3 rd Year Mathematics).
