City seeking students to serve on youth committee
The City of Cornwall is seeking eight students and three stakeholders to sit on the Youth Advisory Committee.

Cornwall - Apr. 3, 2011 - If you're a local teenager who wants to make a difference in the community, the City of Cornwall wants to hear from you.

The city is now seeking applications from eight students between the ages of 13 and 18 to serve as members of the Youth Advisory Committee.

Along with the students, three professionals from the stakeholders' community are also being sought to serve on the committee, which serves as an advisory body to city council on youth-related matters.

Coun. Maurice Dupelle is the council representative on the committee.

Interested individuals are invited to submit their applications and resumes to the city clerk's department by mail, in person, by fax or by email no later than 4 p.m. on May 13.
