Bill Payment is the newest columnist with OurHometown.ca
OurHometown.ca is pleased to announce that Bill Payment will be joining our team of columnists, with a regular offering called Ramblings & Rants. Bill will be making regular contributions on topics such as politics, local happenings, sports and the good old days.

Cornwall - Jun. 9, 2011 - OurHometown.ca is pleased to announce that Bill Payment will be joining our team of columnists, with a regular offering called Ramblings & Rants.

Payment was born and raised in Cornwall and attended St. Lawrence High School in the 1950’s. He was an active athlete in his day playing football, basketball and fastball. He referred basketball and was the Cornwall Open B Champion at the Cornwall Golf & Country Club in 1962.

His career took him and his family out of Cornwall in 1966. They had stops in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and most notably Vancouver. Today, the retired Chartered Commercial Mediator of more than 20 years, is back in his hometown of Cornwall.

Bill is a father of three, grandfather of five and a great-grandfather of three. To this day, he is still an avid curler and a hacking golfer. A golfer, who because of all his moves, is on his fourth stint at the Cornwall Golf Club.

Bill will be making regular contributions to OurHometown.ca on topics such as politics, local happenings, sports and the good old days. For those of you who know Bill, you know that he is never shy on opinion.
