Amherst Island Man Apprehended By OPP
Loyalist OPP Officers have arrested and charged a 17 year old male teen during the afternoon October 7, 2011.

Loyalist Township - Oct. 9, 2011 - Loyalist OPP Officers have arrested and charged a 17 year old male teen during the afternoon October 7, 2011.

Police had been looking for him since he had fled the scene of a collision October 5 on Amherst Island.

He was apprehended near Brothers Island without incident while kayaking towards mainland.

He is facing numerous charges including Fail to Remain, Theft of a motor vehicle, Break and Enter, Fail to Comply, Theft of the Kayak. He is also facing other unrelated charges with Kingston Police Force and is currently in Police custody.
