Bowey delivers "Gordie Howe Hat Trick" in Rockets win over Red Deer
The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Red Deer Rebels 6-2 on Wednesday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna as the Rockets won its fifth straight game. Six different players scored for Kelowna, who jumped out of the gates quickly and led from start to finish in improving to 12-2-0-2 on the season. Captain Madison Bowey had a goal and an assist in leading the Rockets in a first star performance.

Kelowna - November 7, 2013 - The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Red Deer Rebels 6-2 on Wednesday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna as the Rockets won its fifth straight game.

Six different players scored for Kelowna, who jumped out of the gates quickly and led from start to finish in improving to 12-2-0-2 on the season.

Captain Madison Bowey had a goal and an assist in leading the Rockets in a first star performance.

Rourke Chartier, Riley Stadel, Damon Severson, Carter Rigby and Zach Franko also scored for Kelowna, who returned from a four game road trip and continued its solid play, in the first of four straight games at Prospera Place.

Jordon Cooke earned the win in net for the Rockets, who outshot Red Deer 44-18 in the dominating performance.

The win strengthened the Rockets lead in first place in the WHL BC Division and second place in the WHL Western Conference. The Rockets' two regulation time losses are the fewest of any team in the entire WHL.

The Rockets will play Prince George on Friday and Edmonton on Saturday at Prospera Place.
