Rain needed to salvage local crops
Rain needed to salvage local crops
Ingleside - Jul. 9, 2012 - The crop season was off to a very good start in early spring as local farmers were ahead of schedule being able to start planting early. Now, successful crops are jeopardized by the lack of rain and many soy bean fields look like this one with plants wilting. Farmers are hoping for at least a day or two with a steady rain fall; at this time there is very little precipitation projected in the long range forecast.
