Cornwall - Jan. 26, 2011 - He may be one of Hollywood's biggest and brightest stars, but Ryan Gosling still hasn't forgotten about his Cornwall roots.

During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote his new movie, Blue Valentine, the 30-year-old actor and musician gave a shout out to the Seaway City, where he spent his childhood and teenage years.

In a humourous exchange with Kimmel, Gosling reminisces about one of his first breaks in show biz: helping out his uncle Perry when he would impersonate "The King" on stage as Elvis Perry.

Eventually, Gosling joined the cast of The Mickey Mouse Club, and the rest was history.
