Cornwall - Mar. 26, 2011 - A local organization is taking a trip back in time for a night of fun, food and laughter.

Victim Services of Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry and Akwesasne is hosting a Medieval Feast and Comedy Night on April 15 at the Best Western Plus Parkway Inn and Conference Centre.

The event begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and a comedy show featuring Doug Funk at 9 p.m.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will help support Victim Services, a non-profit organization that works with police and other emergency service providers to meet the immediate short-term needs of victims of crime and tragic circumstance. The organization accomplishes this by providing emotional support, practical assistance and information and referrals.

Tickets are $60 and there will also be a raffle with a number of great prizes up for grabs. Raffle tickets are $1 each.

Tickets can be purchased by calling the Victim Services office at 613-938-8900.
