Cornwall - May. 24, 2011 - With the recent passing of its Treasurer Joe Gunn, the Cornwall & Area Chamber of Commerce has announced some changes to its Board of Directors.

“While we continue to be saddened by the death of Joe Gunn, a long standing and respected Chamber member, Director and Treasurer, I am pleased to make the following announcement. Effectively immediately,Derek Proulx from AdVantages Advertising, as the next available candidate from the recent election results, has been elected to the Board as a Director. I would also like to announce that current Director, Kevin Hargreaves, Kelsey’s Restaurants, has been nominated and has agreed to serve as Treasurer,” stated Chamber President Rick Shaver.

The Cornwall Chamber Board is composed of 13 Directors from among which are five elected Executive Committee members: President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Treasurer and the Past President/Chair of the Board.
