Victim Services volunteer crisis responders needed
Victim Services of S.D.G. & A. is looking for volunteers from a variety of backgrounds. If you are 19 years of age or over, have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, have good listening skills and want to make a difference in your community, Victim Services would like to hear from you.

Cornwall - Jun. 11, 2011 - Victim Services of S.D.G. & A. is a non-profit volunteer based organization dedicated to assist police and other emergency services to meet the immediate, short-term needs of victims of crime and tragic circumstances by providing emotional support, practical assistance and referrals to community based services/resources.

The organization is looking for volunteers from a variety of backgrounds. If you are 19 years of age or over, have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, have good listening skills and want to make a difference in your community, Victim Services would like to hear from you.

Victim Services are having two information sessions on June 22, 2011. The first is at 10:00 a.m. and the second in at 7:00 p.m. The information sessions will be held at their office, which is located at 707A Rosemount Avenue (upstairs).
