Doug Randlett identifed as deceased in fatal motorcycle accident
The Cornwall Community Police Service released more details today about yesterday afternoon's fatal motorcycle accident. The deceased has been identified as Douglas Randlett, 58, of Cornwall. The motor vehicle collision is still under investigation by the Cornwall Community Police Service.

Cornwall - Jun. 17, 2011 - The Cornwall Community Police Service released more details today about yesterday afternoon's fatal motorcycle accident.

The police are currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision which occurred at the intersection of South Branch Road and McConnell Avenue shortly after 4:30 pm, on June 16, 2011.

A motorcyclist was travelling westbound on South Branch Road and was involved in a collision with a pick-up truck travelling eastbound turning north on to McConnell Avenue. The deceased has been identified as Douglas Randlett, 58, of Cornwall.

Randlett was the 1st Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce, a member of the executive of Cornwall's Heart of the City and a partner at Shoeless Joe's.

The motor vehicle collision is still under investigation by the Cornwall Community Police Service

Cornwall Police also released the following: On June 16, 2011 at approximately 4:30 PM while responding to an emergency call, a Cornwall Community Police vehicle was involved in a collision with a motorcycle causing injury to the driver of the motorcycle.
