Cornwall Police Service: Official Media Release - June 22, 2011
The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Community Police Service: Mathiew Alan Labrecque, 20, of Cornwall was arrested on the 21st of June, 2011 for breaching his conditions. A 23 year-old Ottawa male was arrested on the 21st of June, 2011 for breaching his conditions.

Cornwall - Jun. 22, 2011 - The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Community Police Service:


Cornwall, Ont. - A 16 year-old Cornwall male was arrested on the 21st of June, 2011. Earlier that day it is alleged that the youth left his group home without reasonable excuse, therefore breaching his condition. Police were contacted and an investigation commenced. The youth was located in the east end of the city and was arrested for 1 count of Escape Lawful Custody. He was held in custody until court. His name is withheld due to provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

BREACHES
Cornwall, Ont. - A 15 year-old Cornwall female was arrested on the 21st of June, 2011 for breaching her conditions. She was bound by Undertaking, Recognizance and Probation Orders with the following conditions: To Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour and to Abide by a curfew. On the arrest date, it is alleged that the female left her group home without the presence of a staff member. Police were contacted and an investigation resulted in the location of the female in the downtown area. She was arrested for 1 count of Breach of Undertaking, 2 counts of Breach of Recognizance and 2 counts of Breach of Probation. She was held in custody until court the following morning. Her name is withheld due to provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE and BREACH OF PROBATION
Cornwall, Ont. - Mathiew Alan Labrecque, 20, of Cornwall was arrested on the 21st of June, 2011 for breaching his conditions. He was bound by a Recognizance Order with a condition to not associate or communicate with a specific male, not to be away from his residence without his surety and to Abstain from the consumption of alcohol. He was further bound by a Probation Order with a condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. On the arrest date, it is alleged that he was located in the company of the male and further that he was under the influence of alcohol when police attended in response to a disturbance in the east end of the city. Police also allege that the male had left his residence without his surety. He was arrested for 3 counts of Breach of Recognizance and 1 count of Breach of Probation. He was held in custody until court the following day.

BREACH OF UNDERTAKING
Cornwall, Ont. â€" A 23 year-old Ottawa male was arrested on the 21st of June, 2011 for breaching his conditions. He was bound by an Undertaking Order with the following conditions: to Abstain from communicating directly or indirectly with a specific female, Not to attend the City of Cornwall except for court purposes and to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. Police responded to a complaint at a Cornwall residence and located the male in the company of the female. As a result the male was arrested for 3 counts of Breach of Undertaking. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name is not being released as it may identify the victim in this incident.

BREACH OF UNDERTAKING
Cornwall, Ont. - A 26 year-old Cornwall male was arrested on the 21st of June, 2011 for breaching his conditions. He was bound by an Undertaking Order with a condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour and to Abide by a curfew. On the arrest date, it is alleged that the male attended a female’s residence and an argument erupted. Police were contacted and an investigation resulted in the male being arrested for 2 counts of Breach of Undertaking. He was held in custody until court. His name is not being released.
